This 10 days Safari takes you to Tanzania's rich wildlife at Serengeti and Ngorongoro national park, and you will witness the spectacle of nature's best, from the great wildlife migration to big lion prides at the maasai kopjes. Marvel the Serengeti plains and volcanic crates of ngorongoro, plus plenty of wildlife safari drives in parks to amplify your chances at spotting a wide variety of wildlife.
And with an included flight between the safaris and Zanzibar, you’ll maximize the time you’ve got to truly indulge in all the nature and beaches that Tanzania has to offer.
You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport upon arrival at 1800hrs (6.00pm off PW flight). Your tour guide for the safari will answer all your queries regarding your upcoming safari and provide you with a short briefing as well. Afterwards, you will be taken to your accommodation at Mount Meru Hotel in Arusha. Overnight at Mount Meru Hotel on Bed & Breakfast) - executive room.

Morning pick up from Arusha and drive to Ndutu/Serengeti. Your safari will begin in the morning with a pick up from your hotel in Arusha and head towards the Ndutu region or Serengeti. The drive to Ndutu is about 6 hours covering a distance of 260 Kms. About 3.5 hours after leaving Arusha, you will enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Ngorongoro) where you will notice the landscape changing from hilly forests to plain and green grasslands. Once you reach Ndutu you will begin a half day game drive with a convenient stop for your picnic lunch. Sweeping grasslands cover the region which gradually fade into the Serengeti. Ndutu forms a part of the route for the annual migration of more than 2 million wildebeests and thousands of zebra, antelope and gazelle through the Serengeti eco system. During game drives between December and April, you will be able to see the great migration in this region. Between Mid Jan and Mar, calving happens here and it attracts hordes of predators prying on vulnerable young wildebeest. Crested with Lake Ndutu and Lake Masek, these waterholes offer plenty of wildlife game during the dry season. The Ndutu is also the home ground for 6 species of big cats – leopard, lion, cheetah, caracal, serval and wildcat. The action-packed game drive will end late in the evening by around 6PM. You will now head towards your choice of accommodation, where a freshly prepared dinner awaits you. Ensure you get some good rest and recharge yourself for another eventful day. Breakfast. Today you will be following the migration depending on its location. During game drives at the right season between December and April, you will be able to see the fertile plains turn into calving grounds and nursery for the great migration. This season attracts hordes of predators preying on vulnerable young wildebeest. Watching the circle of life take its course will be an unforgettable experience etched for life. The action-packed game drive will end late in the evening by around 5PM. You will now head towards your choice of accommodation, where a freshly prepared dinner awaits you. Ensure you get some good rest and recharge yourself for another eventful day. Meals and Overnight at Sanctuary Kichakani Camp.

Breakfast. Now we’ll turn south to the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. But on our way, we’ll stop at Olduvai Gorge, a dramatic ravine and a significant anthropological site. Here were discovered 3 million-year-old fossilized human remains and tools, an unmatched chronicle of our physical and cultural development. Then, we will soon arrive at the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater rim, taking in the vast lush bowl, carved into the earth below. This discrete habitat is alive with wildlife, though virtually cut off from the rest of Africa. We’ll carefully descend the steep crater walls in our 4 x 4, landing in a verdant world of over 25,000 animals. – lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and even pink flamingos. The day is ours to explore this special UNESCO World Heritage Site whose plains, woods, and marshes vibrate with the density of their wildlife. Toward late afternoon, we’ll head back up the crater wall in time to catch one of Ngorongoro’s signature blazing sunsets to Karatu. Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge.

After a leisurely breakfast, it’s a last day on safari and if we get up early enough, we can enjoy a bursting sunrise. And then it’s time to head back to Arusha. We’ll take an easy drive, stopping to relax and have lunch in Arusha and after a rest, you will be dropped off to Kilimanjaro international airport for your PW flight departing at 2040hrs (8.40pm). With an incredible experience and loads of memories to cherish, this is the time you bid goodbye to your safari team.

Depart Kilimanjaro Airport at 8:40 pm aboard PW flight and arrive in Zanzibar at 10:00pm. Our tour guide will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to Stone Town. He will drop you off at Spice Tree by Turaco for overnight.

Our driver/tour guide will pick you up at Spice Tree at 4:00 pm and transfer to SafiraBlu Luxury Resort and Villas where you will stay until the 6th of January 2025 on all-inclusive basis.

You will checkout on 6th early in the morning at 7:00 am and our driver will transfer you to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport Zanzibar for your flight to Dar es salam. And from Dar es salam you will take another flight (Ethiopian Airlines) back home.
