The 3 days chimpanzee trekking safari takes you to Kibale national park located in western Uganda bordering districts of Kabarole, Kyenjojo, and Kamwenge, The Park is highly alluring to nature lovers for its excellent Chimpanzee trekking and bird watching. It has the highest concentration of primates in East Africa. These primates include red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, black and white colobus, vervet monkeys, grey checked mangabey, red colobus, olive baboons, and chimpanzees. Kibale has over 335 bird species including 4 species not recorded in any other national park in Uganda and these include Nahan’s francolin, Cassin’s spine tail, Blue-headed bee-eater, and Masked apalis, The Park also has over 60 mammals which include lions, elephants, buffalos, wart hogs, hippos, giant forest hogs, bushbucks and many more

Our safari driver/ guide will meet you up at Entebbe International airport on arrival or pick you up from your hotel or residence and drive southwest via Fort portal city to Kibale National Park. The drive will take approximately 5-6 hours. As you drive along the way you will enjoy the scenery and see the Ugandan way of life in their traditional homesteads and farms. An hour break is scheduled at Fort portal for lunch at a hotel then proceed to the park. Check-in and relax before dinner.

You will have breakfast at 6:30 am. Depart on yet another exciting experience in Kibale Forest National Park. This Park is reputable for having the greatest variety and the highest concentration of primates in East Africa. You will be guided on a nature walk in the tropical rainforest in search of wild chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and many others. While on the track you will be able to encounter other different primate species which include Red-Colobuses, grey-cheeked Mangabeys, black-and-white Colobus monkeys, the blues as well as other wildlife such as butterflies, birds, and many other small insects. The UWA guides will provide information on tree identification in the forest as well as in explaining to you the other features of the forest. After you will go back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.Accommodation: Isunga lodge

You will have breakfast at 6:30 am. Depart back to Entebbe International airport or your hotel in Kampala. You will have an en-route lunch stop over at any chosen hotel. Continue with the journey reaching Kampala late in the afternoon. The safari guide will drop you at the hotel or Entebbe International airport for the flight to the next destination. End of the safari.
