The 3-day African safari takes you to Lake Mburo national park. The smallest and nearest national park to those planning wildlife and birding safaris in Uganda. Located approximately 240 kilometers from Kampala and 30 kilometers from Mbarara. The Park is easily accessible by road in about 3 and a half hours. The Park has got a vast ecosystem and nature prevails, it has got rocky ridges and forested gorges in its western regions. It harbors 68 mammal species and that include the majestic elands, Burchell’s zebras, Impalas, topi bushbucks, defassa waterbucks, de oribis, wart hogs, crocodiles, hippos, and many more. The Park has got a wide range of bird species which include African fin foot, heron, pelican, and rare shoebill among others.
