Our safari guide/driver will meet you at Entebbe International airport or your hotel and transfer you to Mgahinga gorilla national park. Uganda's smallest national park, yet gifted with the world's sought-after treasures. You will have a stopover at the Uganda equator for souvenirs and photographs. Continue to Mbarara, where you will have an en-route Lunch. Continue with the journey while viewing plantations, and undulating hills by the countryside. Arrival will be late in the evening, and check-in for refreshments, dinner, and overnight.

Start this day with a yummy cup of coffee at 6:30 am, before driving to the park's headquarters where the park rangers will verify your tracking documents, and then hold a 30-minute briefing, followed by a 1-8 hour Mountain Gorilla trekking in the vast savanna grassland depending on the direction the creatures have taken and your fitness. Mgahinga national park has only one Gorilla family open for tracking thus recommendable since there is less congestion. You will have one hour of watching these Apes play, feed and pose for your photos before having your packed lunch and an optional activity in the evening before dinner and overnights

You will wake up early in the morning and greet your intestines with a delicious cup of coffee at 6:30 am that will give you the energy of traversing the Jungle in search of the fascinating Golden monkeys. The activity starts with a pre-trekking briefing and document verification at 8:00 am followed by a 1-5 hour tracking exercise, through the jungle. You will have the opportunity of spotting other primates such as the grey-cheeked monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, baboons, and vervet monkeys among others. Thereafter, Lunch will come next in the program, before heading for an exciting encounter with the Batwa pygmies whose ancient lives depended on hunting and gathering the fruits in Mgahinga and Bwindi Forest. They will show you some of the caves left behind by the forefathers, and hunting tools as well as sing and dance for you. You will then drive back to the lodge where a delicious dinner meal and cozy bed await you.

You will wake up early morning, and have breakfast at 6:30 am. You will later go for a half-day boat tour of lake Mutanda with a guide and experience the silence and beauty of lake Mutanda and its surrounding by motorized boat. You will get a chance to know about the surroundings and the historical background of the communities, and see many bird species and otters. You will come back to the lodge for Lunch and relaxation as you prepare for the journey back to Kampala the next day. Dinner will be served at the lodge.

This is the last day of your five days safari so depending on your flight schedule; you will have a relaxed breakfast before checking out for an 8-9 hour drive back to Entebbe/ Kampala. There will be a brief stopover in Mbarara for Lunch, before proceeding with the Journey to the airport or hotel. End of the safari
