This 5-day and 4 Nights epic journey combines three of Uganda’s best national parks known for their wildlife in term of primate species and the African Savanna .This particular package combines tracking the famous Mountain Gorillas of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with the wide savanna plains in Queen Elizabeth and the dense tropical forest of Kibale National Park. While Bwindi and Kibale are great on Primates (Gorillas and chimpanzees),Queen Elizabeth National Park gives excellent Wild Game viewing.In addition to this,you are able to traverse one of the water bodies(Kazinga channel )on a boat ride.This channel connects Lake Edward and Lake George.Along the channel banks,you will occassionally find wild animals sipping on water such as Elephants,Buffaloes,Antelopes,Hippopotamus.There are also several crocodiles that can be spotted here as well as a huge array of birds.This Safari will give you an experience of a lifetime.

Day 1:Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi National Park

Day 1:Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi National Park

You will meet with our tour guide at your Hotel in Kampala or at the airport and drive to Bwindi National Park. You shall have a stop at the Equator where you will perform a simple experiment to experience the forces of Nature between the Northern and Southern hemisphere,have a moment for Photography, have a look at the traditional drums and crafts being made, and thereafter proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest famously known for the rare Mountain Gorillas. Bird life and primate life in this forest is quite superb, and there is an incredible variety of flora. Bwindi is the Bird watchers haven! It holds 348 species of birds and supports 24 of 26 Albertine Rift Endemics that occur in Uganda, of which you might have a chance to encounter some birds as well as other primate species during your trek.


Day 2: Gorilla tracking (Bwindi Impenetrable National Park)

Day 2: Gorilla tracking (Bwindi Impenetrable National Park)

After your breakfast at the Lodge, you will be transferred to the gorilla tracking information office for a pre-gorilla tracking briefing by the park warden and rangers at 8:00 am. After briefing, the rangers will then lead you into the forest to track the famous gentle giants (Mountain gorillas). The thrill of spending time observing the gorillas as they interact with each other is a pleasing and unforgettable one, you are allowed an hour witnessing the interaction of these close relatives of ours.A few Gorillas tend to be cheeky and come out of the family to interact and look at visitors at close range.Remember to do your photography as much as you can in this 1 hour for it is an experience one never forgets in their lifetime. The time spent tracking the gorillas will not be known to you but varies from 3 to 8 hours depending on where the Gorillas slept the previous nights.This is the wild and they are free to move in their Natural habitat.And because the estimated time is usually not known,we always encourage a packed Lunch for our clients from the Lodge. After this experience,you will return to the Lodge for and relax for the rest of the evening


Day 3: Transfer from Bwindi,a game drive in Ishasha - Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 3: Transfer from Bwindi,a game drive in Ishasha - Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early breakfast, you shall be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a park known to boast the highest bio-diversity ratings of any game park with habitats including; lakes, forest, savanna grassland as well as wetlands. You shall go through the Ishasha sector famed for its tree climbing lions, and do a game drive, if you get lucky, you may spot the tree climbing lions. There after you will proceed to Mweya Peninsula for your Lunch at Tembo Restaurant & a boat ride on Kazinga channel in the afternoon. After the boat ride you will proceed to Engiri Game Lodge for Dinner and overnight.


Day 4: An early morning Game Drive and transfer to Kibale National Park

Day 4: An early morning Game Drive and transfer to Kibale National Park

After an early morning breakfast, you will head for a game drive along Kasenyi tracks in search of animals like: lions, cape buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, water bucks, spotted hyenas, mongoose, antelopes and, if you are lucky, the leopard that is often spotted in Kasenyi. Over 606 bird species have been recorded in this park and most notably along the Kazinga channel. After the Game drive, you will proceed to Kibale National Park with Lunch being taken enroute at the Gardens Restaurant in Fort Portal.After your Lunch you will proceed to Kibale National Park, a rain Forest that is home to many families of chimpanzees and is famously know for it's productive Chimpanzee tracking and other primates


Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park and return to Entebbe

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park and return to Entebbe

Enjoy a cup of tea/ coffee in the morning then you will be transferred to the ranger station by 7:00 am. You will then head to the headquarters of Kibale National Park for a short briefing about Chimpanzee tracking and will also provide information as you track. During the walk you will stop occasionally to listen to the calls of the chimpanzee as this is the easiest way to know where they are in the dense forest. Other animals and primates that may be seen include; black and white Colobuses, the rare L’hoest monkey, bush baby, baboons, butterflies can be seen. Bird lovers will have a chance to spot various species of birds like the rumped tinker birds among other.After this experience you will return to the hotel for lunch and transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe International Airport.
