5 Days 4 Nights Masai Mara Safari Package

The Masai Mara, with its vast landscape of lush savannah and incredible density of wildlife, is one of the best wildlife reserves in Kenya. Most people visit for two to three days and then journey onto other parks, but there is a strong case for staying longer, cutting down on journey time and really exploring the best that this majestic reserve has to offer. This safari takes advantage of two spectacular wilderness camps in the adjoining private conservancies to allow access to the landscape and wildlife of the Masai Mara reserve without the crowds and minibuses that occasionally bedevil it. What marks this Masai Mara safari out is the superb opportunities to observe the big cat population in the Masai Mara alongside superb accommodation and genuine interaction with the local landscape and people. The big cat population in the Masai Mara is second to none with strong lion, cheetah and leopard populations both in the park and in the private conservancies used in this safari. Night drives in the private conservancies will give superb chances of seeing these incredible animals in when they are most active. This safari includes bush walks with the local Masai and night game drives within the private conservancies. Not to be underestimated when you acknowledge that most Kenyan safaris focus solely on the big reserves which give no opportunity to get out of the safari vehicle and connect with the land and people.
